Terms of sale
These terms apply when you use A3E Pub Rescue at a3eecosystem.com/tools/pub-rescue ("the service"), provided by A3E Ecosystem Inc., Canada ("we"). By uploading a file or buying a pack you agree to them.
The service
We convert Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files you upload into PowerPoint, Word and PDF files and show you a preview and a score for every page before you download. Conversion is automatic. Results depend on the file; some layouts, effects and fonts cannot be reproduced exactly, which is why we show the preview and scores first. Check converted files before relying on them.
Your files
You must have the right to the files you upload. You keep all rights to your files and to the converted results. You give us only the permission needed to store and convert them for you for up to 24 hours, after which they are deleted.
Subscriptions
The Reseller plan (C$79 a month, 2,000 conversions per billing month, unused conversions do not carry over) and Merge Studio (C$12 a month or C$120 a year) renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and the latest payment is refunded automatically within 10 days of it if the plan has not been used since, which also ends the subscription.
Free use and packs
Free use is 3 files every 30 days per browser and network. A pack is a one-time payment for a number of file conversions, usable for 12 months from purchase in the browser you paid from (keep the address of the page you return to after payment: it carries your pack). One conversion is used when you unlock a file for download; downloading the same file again within 24 hours is free. Packs are not subscriptions and do not renew. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Acceptable use
Do not upload files you have no right to, files containing malware, or use the service to overload or attack it. We may refuse or limit use that breaks these terms.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived, including under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and the version in force when you bought a pack applies to that pack. Questions: [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of the province where you live in Canada, or of Ontario if you live outside Canada.
