Privacy
This page explains what A3E Pub Rescue collects and why. A3E Ecosystem Inc. is responsible for it. Our person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at [email protected].
Your files
The .pub file you upload and the files we make from it are stored on our server in Canada only to convert them and let you download them, and are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. Nobody at A3E opens them unless you ask us to look at a problem with a specific file. They are never shared, sold, or used to train any model.
What else we keep
- A random browser identifier stored in your browser, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address, to apply the free limit of 3 files a month. The hash cannot be turned back into your address.
- If you buy a pack: the Stripe checkout reference and how many files you have used. Stripe processes your payment and keeps your payment details under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your card number. Stripe gives us your email address for the receipt.
- Standard server logs (time, page requested, network address) kept for up to 30 days for security.
Service providers
Stripe (payments, United States and Canada) and Cloudflare (network delivery and security). Our web pages may load Google AdSense; Google may set cookies to show ads.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
