Publisher to PowerPoint
Open your Publisher bulletins and flyers in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva. Each page becomes a slide of the same size.
Why your .pub files need rescuing
Microsoft stopped supporting Publisher on October 13, 2026, and it is no longer included with Microsoft 365. PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides and Canva cannot open .pub files. Pub Rescue turns them into files those apps open, so ten years of bulletins, newsletters, flyers and programmes stay usable.
What you get
- PowerPoint, Exact-look: each page looks like the original. Pictures and shapes sit behind the text, and every line of text is real, editable text.
- PowerPoint, Editable: each Publisher text box comes back as one text box, so text reflows when you type. Best for pages you will rewrite.
- Word: the same page with text in positioned frames.
- PDF/A: for printing and long-term archiving.
- A score for every page and a list of every font we replaced, shown before you pay.
How your files are handled
Your file is uploaded over an encrypted connection, converted on our own server in Canada, and deleted with its results 24 hours after upload. We do not look at your documents, share them, or use them to train anything. See privacy.
Pricing
Prices in Canadian dollars. One-time payments, no subscription.
What the score means
Every page gets a score from 0 to 100 for each file we deliver. We open the delivered PowerPoint or Word file, draw the page, and compare it with the page as we read it from your .pub, pixel by pixel (a structural similarity measure). 100 means identical. 95 and above is hard to tell apart by eye; below 85 you will see differences, usually in line breaks or spacing.
The score compares against our reading of your file, not against Publisher itself, which we cannot run. When a font in your file is not available to us, we use the closest match and list it, and the score reflects that match.
Refunds: an unused pack, or a second payment for the same pack, is refunded automatically within 10 days. See the refund policy.
