Bank statement PDF to CSV
Your statement never leaves your computer: the PDF is read by code running in this page, and nothing is uploaded.
The converter reads the text layer of the PDF, finds the transaction table from its header row, and writes one row per transaction with the columns Date, Description, Withdrawal, Deposit, Balance. Amounts are plain decimals (no currency symbols or thousands separators) so a spreadsheet reads them as numbers.
The reconciliation check
Opening balance plus deposits minus withdrawals must equal the closing balance. When the statement also prints a running balance, each row is checked against it, and a row that does not agree is shaded. If the opening or closing balance is not found in the PDF you can type it in.
Messy statement, or one this converter cannot read? Tell us about the file first, then email us for our done-for-you PDF to Excel service: a person converts the tables into a clean Excel workbook. Text-based PDFs only; send a description before any file.
